As a graduate of Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business majoring in Management, Leadership and Innovation with a minor in Justice and Peace Studies, I have since gone on to work at Google where I help accelerate the growth of small and medium-sized app and gaming businesses. At Google, I am also the Head of Experience for the Global Black Google Network, and have led initiatives ranging from fundraising ~$1M for Black-led businesses and nonprofit organizations to highlighting stories of the incredible Black women that make up the company. I'm a creator and a mobilizer, and the excitement for new ideas has recently led me to founding my own social impact consulting firm, bseratg, LLC. As Chief Marketing Officer and partnerships lead, I have also helped build and grow a nonprofit called Omna Tigray, which supports the people of Tigray, a region in northern Ethiopia, who are currently going through one of the worst humanitarian crises in modern history.
